Investment Director (PE)
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Investment Director (PE) who dares to exceed average.
Responsibilities:
→ manage a diversified investment portfolio to achieve capitalization growth,
→ develop and implement an investment strategy aimed at increasing portfolio value,
→ establish effective relationships with portfolio companies to achieve strategic goals and drive their capitalization growth,
→ lead and scale the team responsible for sourcing, analyzing new investments, and supporting existing portfolio companies,
→ provide methodological support and improve lead generation assessment and management processes within the company,
→ collaborate closely with the investment committee and finance team,
→ monitor the performance of portfolio companies and advice on addressing urgent issues, considering available resources,
→ build a portfolio health-check process with actionable recommendations,
→ ensure alignment with the company’s investment strategy, balancing diversification, capitalization, and financial risks,
→ update information and track results regularly,
→ assess and manage risks, including deciding on exiting unprofitable projects or restructuring them,
→ stakeholder management,
→ engage in discussions and negotiations regarding the distribution of the cap table in portfolio companies,
→ resolve corporate conflicts,
→ establish a center of expertise for Private Equity Investments.
about you:
→ at least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or similar, with a proven track record in investment,
→ ability to work with the senior leadership team in developing investment strategies, target market strategies, team priorities, team structure and portfolio performance,
→ solid understanding of portfolio performance drivers and data analytics that drive portfolio performance maximization,
→ experience in deal execution, exit planning, or stakeholder engagement,
→ solid understanding of corporate finance and ability to evaluate and understand complex capital structures,
→ experience leading strategic initiatives,
→ ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve investment goals,
→ clear, concise, and articulate communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-level reports and insights to stakeholders,
→ Advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
